Niagara Pioneer Soccer Tournament Live Scores
The Niagara Pioneer Soccer League was established in 1972 with two fields in Youngstown, NY. Today, nearly 800 children from age 4-19 participate in the House (recreational) League and on travel teams. Niagara Pioneer currently maintains 20 fields at Fort Niagara State Park.
Niagara Pioneer sponsors four scholarships annually for high school seniors that have participated in our program for at least five years.
Niagara Pioneer has also hosted numerous prestigious tournaments, including the Eastern Regional Championships on nine occasions.
The Board meets every month at the Red Brick in Youngstown. These meetings are open to the public. View Meeting Schedule.
Mission
Our mission is to foster the development of youth soccer in the Niagara Region of Western New York.
House League
The house league season runs from mid-May to mid-July, every Monday and Thursday evening. Registration begins in January. Emphasis on small-sided games ensures an appropriate environment for fun and development. Volunteers are always welcome as coaches and administrators.
Travel Soccer
Niagara Pioneer sponsors travel teams from Under-10 ( minimum age 8 ) to Under-19 for boys and girls. Our teams participate in the Buffalo & Western New York Junior Soccer League , which is affiliated with the New York State West Youth Soccer Association and United States Soccer Federation (USSF). All league games are in Western New York. Our teams also participate in a limited number of weekend tournaments. Registration and tryouts are open to the public and held each year in late summer and early fall at Fort Niagara. Once again, the cost is subsidized by our own tournament.
Tournament
Niagara Pioneer has hosted an annual tournament in July since 1985. The Niagara Pioneer International Tournament boasts upwards of 160 teams playing all of their matches at one venue in the beautiful and historic setting of Fort Niagara State Park. With plenty of local attractions from the majestic Niagara Falls to local historic and entertainment venues, and excellent, reasonably priced local accommodations, the Niagara Pioneer International Tournament is a wonderful family vacation.
Teams from throughout New York State along with Pennsylvania, Ohio, Michigan, New Jersey, Ontario and others compete in a well-organized and highly competitive tournament.
